Heidi has been quilting since 2002 and considers it her main creative outlet. She makes quilts as gifts for friends and family, as well as for charity. She belongs to the Back Room Quilters of Pittsburgh's East End, had a pair of quilts featured in New Zealand Quilter Magazine, and showed two quilts at an Edgewood Foundation Art Show in 2006.
